Lyndee Deal is a ceramic artist currently based in North Adams, MA. A Texas native, she first learned the value of community and collaboration while growing up in a small town — principles she now brings into her work, creating pieces that foster gathering, connection, and shared experiences. Lyndee holds an MFA in Ceramics from the University of North Texas and has participated in residencies in Columbia, Missouri, and upstate New York. She approaches her practice with curiosity and a willingness to listen — embracing the unique character and charm that clay offers as a collaborator.

artist statement

My work often reflects nostalgic aspects of my childhood — sometimes intentionally, sometimes by chance — whether it be through certain color palettes or physical materials such as plastic beads and glitter. Over time, my practice has evolved into a way of reconnecting with my inner child, creating space for the playfulness and freedom to explore these elements that my younger self would have appreciated.
